Workshops will be divided into the following categories.
Publishing: Workshops in this category will focus on the many facets of the publishing industry. Topics could include query writing, agent relationships, self-publishing, etc
Career: These workshops focus on what it means to be a CIM author, marketing, creating an author brand, etc. Craft: Craft workshops will help attendees hone their writing skills. Topics could include research, world building, character development, structure, revision techniques and processes, dialogue, etc. Writer’s Life: These workshops will focus on the ins and outs of daily writing life. Topics could include healthy writing habits, writing-life balance, routine, time management, etc. Does your idea not fit perfectly into one of these categories? That’s OK! If there's a topic you're well-versed in and you think it would be of interest to writers, please don't hesitate to contact us with your workshop idea. |
